Products & portions
How many portions does 1 kg of AVENOR base make?
Between 10 and 18 finished portions per kilogram when prepared with protein, depending on the dish, the portion size and how far you adjust the consistency. Pastes used as marinades go furthest. Portion-test during your sample trial to lock your exact yield and cost per plate.
Is a pouch ready to use or a concentrate?
Gravies and bases are fully cooked and ready to heat, finish and plate. Pastes (tikka, tandoori, biryani) are concentrates and labelled as such.
What is the shelf life?
18 months unopened at ambient temperature. Refrigerate after opening and use within 5–7 days. Sterilised with advanced Japanese technology. No preservatives.
Are the bases vegetarian?
Veg / non-veg on this site describes the dishes a base is designed to make, not the base itself. Every base lists its declared allergens on its page and on the pouch.
Do you publish ingredients?
Formulations are confidential. Allergens are always declared — on the product page, the allergen table and the pouch. Specification sheets are available to trade accounts on request.

What is the minimum order?
Minimum order 50 kg per shipment (mix any bases, 1 kg pouches). One kilogram per pouch, so 50 pouches, in any combination.
How do I see prices?
Open a free trade account. Per-kg pricing and availability show the moment you sign in. Landed quotes — freight, duties, terms — come from the sales desk within one business day.
Can I pay online?
Online payment is being switched on. Today you build the order at per-kg pricing and submit it as a purchase-order request; the sales desk confirms freight, duties and payment terms.
Do you offer samples?
Yes — most relationships start that way. Use the free-sample form and tell us what you serve; samples ship from the US to professional kitchens.

United States, Canada, United Kingdom, UAE, Australia, Germany, Italy, France, Ireland, Switzerland, Netherlands.
How long does delivery take?
In stock at our US and local warehouses: ships in 2 business days. Otherwise 35–60 days, and we tell you immediately if there's any delay.
Who pays duties and taxes?
Import duties and local taxes are itemised in your landed quote before you commit, so there are no surprises at the border.
Certifications
What certifications apply?
FDA, ISO, Halal, HACCP, GMP. Certificate copies are supplied to trade accounts on request.
Do you provide allergen statements per lot?
Yes. Ask the sales desk before ordering and we confirm the current label for the lot you would receive.
